DENVER - Single-game tickets for the 2007 Colorado Mammoth season will go on sale this Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Mammoth opens defense of its 2006 National Lacrosse League championship at home on Dec. 30 against the Rochester Knighthawks. A banner-raising ceremony will precede the 7 p.m. game at Pepsi Center and members of the 2006 team will receive their championship rings.

Other highlights of the Mammoth's home schedule include a rematch of the 2006 NLL championship game against the Buffalo Bandits, two matchups against the Portland LumberJax - last season's winners of the West Division title - and the always anticipated meeting with rivals the Calgary Roughnecks.

The Mammoth will also host West Division matchups with the Edmonton Rush, Arizona Sting and San Jose Stealth.

"Opening Night is approaching fast and we're very much looking forward to returning to action," Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said. "Playing at Pepsi Center in front of the best fans in lacrosse has been a huge part of our success."

The Mammoth ranked first last season in league attendance, averaging 16,543 fans per home game. Through four seasons in Denver the Mammoth is 24-8 in regular season games at home and have twice led the league in attendance.
