DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth will open the National Lacrosse League's 20th season tonight at Pepsi Center with a jersey retirement ceremony for the sport's most accomplished player, former Mammoth captain Gary Gait.

The game against the Philadelphia Wings also marks Gait's first game as the Mammoth's head coach.

Game time is 7 p.m. and tickets starting at $5 are available at the Pepsi Center box office, Tickemaster.com, and by phone at 303.830.TIXS.

A sellout crowd is expected and the Mammoth would like to remind fans to arrive early and be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. for a special video presentation and banner ceremony. Gait will be joined by his family on the field as a banner representing his No. 22 jersey - the first to be retired by the team - will be unveiled and raised to the Pepsi Center rafters.
