Mammoth game at Rochester removed from Altitude broadcast schedule
April 7, 2005 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Colorado Mammoth News Release
DENVER, April 7, 2005 - The Colorado Mammoth at Rochester Knighthawks game on Friday, April 15 will no longer be broadcast by Altitude Sports & Entertainment, the regional sports network announced Thursday.
Altitude has chosen instead to broadcast live the Mammoth's first game of the 2005 National Lacrosse League playoffs, which will be played on either the weekend of April 22-24 or April 29-May 1.
"Altitude realized that our first playoff game will be much more meaningful than our regular-season finale at Rochester," Mammoth general manager Steve Govett said. "We hope we have served our fans' best interests by giving priority to the playoff game."
The game at Rochester was originally scheduled to air on tape delay at 10 p.m.
