Mallards To Meet Fans Tomorrow At Hardee's In Rock Falls, Morrison

MOLINE, Ill. (March 1, 2010) - The Quad City Mallards, proud International Hockey League (IHL) affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, today announced that as part of the club's partnership with Hardee's©, Mallards players will visit Hardee's locations in Rock Falls and Morrison to meet fans and lend a hand to Hardee's staff tomorrow from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

"We're excited that our partnership with Hardee's again gives our players the chance to meet area fans and also help out the Hardee's staff," said Mallards Executive Vice President and General Manager Shawn Hackman.

Mallards players will be on hand to meet fans stopping by Hardee's locations at 53 First Avenue in Rock Falls and at 200 North Base Street in Morrison. Tomorrow's visits are the latest in a series of opportunities for fans to meet Mallards fans at area Hardee's restaurants.

The Mallards and Hardee's have also partnered on a host of other initiatives this season. The Hardee's "Biscuit in the Basket" promotion delivers coupons good for free Hardee's Made from Scratch=99 Biscuits to a different row of a section randomly selected at each home game for each goal scored by the Mallards at the i wireless Center this season. If the Mallards score at least four goals in a home game, the entire designated section wins free biscuits. The Hardee's logo has been painted on the ice inside the nets at the i wireless Center to serve as a most appropriate target for Mallards marksmen this season.

The Mallards' partnership with Hardee's also includes a series of giveaway nights, the next of which is an Official Game Puck Giveaway Night on Sunday, March 28 when the Mallards take on Dayton.

The Mallards Wednesday night return to action on home ice against the Muskegon Lumberjacks at 7:05 p.m. 12-ounce drafts will be available for just $2 at i wireless Center concession stands during that game.

Tickets for Wednesday night's game and all remaining regular season Mallards home games are available at the i wireless Center box office, Ticketmaster outlets and www.ticketmaster.com or through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. through the end of the second period.
