Madison Mallards News Release

Madison, Wis. - Tickets are on sale now for potential Mallards home playoff games. The Madison Mallards clinched a berth in the Northwoods League's South Division playoffs with their victory this past Sunday. Final seeding and location have yet to be determined with five games remaining in the regular season. The Mallards have the potential to host up to four playoff games, and single game tickets for these games are on sale now.

Ticket prices for playoff games are as follows:

Dugout Box Seats: $14.50

Field Box Seats: $12.00

Meriter & Physicians Plus Backyard Seats: $10.00

The Great Duck Blind will not be open for playoff games held Monday or Tuesday.

If the Mallards do not secure home field advantage for any possible playoff games, tickets for those games will be refunded.

First and second half Divisional champions will have home field advantage on the first day of the one-game elimination Divisional playoffs. If a team wins both halves, the team with the second best overall record will also have home field advantage on the first day. The first half champion Kenosha Kingfish will host the four seed on Monday and the two seed will play the three seed in the other game.

Entering today, the Mallards currently maintain the second-best overall record in the South Division and would host the playoff game on Monday if the season ended today. With five games remaining in Madison's regular-season schedule, seeding and location of first-round postseason games will officially be determined after all games are completed on Sunday, August 9.

Season ticket holders and ticket package holders should continue to contact Rick Brostowitz at 608-246-4277 or by email to Rick@MallardsBaseball.com for any playoff ticket needs.
