Quad City Mallards News Release

MOLINE, Ill. (August 10, 2010) - The Quad City Mallards of the "AA" Central Hockey League today announced reduced single game ticket prices for the 2010-11 season and introduced special Sunday Family Day discounts for each of the Mallards' four Sunday home games.

Lower level seats (not on the glass) for all Mallards regular season home games will be available for $15 for adults while all upper level adult tickets will be priced at $10. The seats closest to the action in the front row on the glass can be had for $25. Kids 12-and-under will be able to sit anywhere (except for glass seats) for just $9.

"We've reduced single game ticket prices and simplified our pricing plan," said Ryan Simmons, Mallards Vice President of Ticketing and Business Development. "Compared to last year, our ticket prices are even more affordable and by reducing the number of ticket prices we've made the ticket buying experience even more fan friendly."

The cost of both lower and upper level seats have been reduced by as much as $3 compared to last season. Single game tickets will go on sale on a date to be announced.

New to the Mallards' promotional lineup for the 2010-11 season are Sunday Family Days. For only $34 in the upper level and just $44 in the lower level, fans receive 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 soft drinks - a savings of up to $26 in the upper level and of up to $36 in the lower level. Following each Sunday contest all fans are invited to take to the ice for a post-game skate with the Mallards.

"Our Sunday plan is a great bargain and very economical for families," said Chris Presson, Mallards President. "We're happy to provide an all-encompassing package at an affordable price on a day typically reserved for family activities. We hope we have a number of moms and dads take advantage of this great offer."

The first Sunday Family Day is slated for October 24 when the Mallards take on the Evansville IceMen and will be followed by Sunday contests on November 21 against the Dayton Gems, December 12 against the Fort Wayne Komets and January 30 against the Missouri Mavericks. Each of the Mallards' Sunday home tilts faces off at 4:05 p.m.

The Mallards will open their first CHL season on home ice on Saturday night, October 16, at 7:05 p.m. against the Odessa Jackalopes. While single games seat sales have not yet begun, Mallards 2010-11 ticket packages are currently available to meet any budget or schedule.
