Mallards Jersey Auction Raises Funds for Gilda's Club

Moline, IL-The Quad City Mallards announced today that the team's Halloween / Warm-Up Jersey Auction raised $3,882 for Gilda's Club of the Quad Cities. The Mallards wore these warm-up jerseys for the first three home games of the 2005-06 regular season. The Halloween Jerseys are individually numbered to match each player on the Mallards roster and were game prepared but never worn in game action.

"We are committed to continuing to invest in the Quad Cities," said Mallards President Paul O' Dacre, "and we are glad to help our friends from Gilda's Club. It is the Mallards' responsibility to work hard to do our share in working with these types of organizations which we enjoy very much."

"We are so thankful for what the Quad City Mallards have done for Gilda's Club. They are definitely showing us that they are sincere about wanting to be a part of our community and we were able to be the benefactors for this fun jersey auction," said Claudia Robinson, Executive Director of Gilda's Club.

The Mallards return home this Friday for Magnet Schedule Night presented by Riverbend Home Mortgage, Eagle's Crest Apartments and Q106.5 FM.
