Majors Announce Playoff Details

Mississauga, ON - It has finally been determined who the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors will face in the 1st round of the playoffs...the Niagara IceDogs! This is the third time in the last five years that these archrivals have met in the postseason.

Here's how the first four, guaranteed games will unfold:

Game #1 - Majors @ IceDogs - Thursday, March 20 (Time TBA) Game #2 - IceDogs @ Majors - Friday, March 21 (7:30 p.m.) Game #3 - Majors @ IceDogs - Sunday, March 23 (Time TBA) Game #4 - IceDogs @ Majors - Tuesday, March 25 (7:30 p.m.)

More information will be forthcoming on the Majors web site, www.stmichaelsmajors.com.

Individual ticket prices will be increased by only $1 for this round, with red seating available for $13.95, gold for $15.95 and platinums for $20.95. They will go on sale through the Hershey Centre box office this Monday morning at 9 a.m. Tickets can also be purchased through the box office two hours prior to the puck drop on game-days or during regular business hours or by logging on to the Majors web site.

The Majors still have two more regular season games remaining this weekend. They travel to Barrie tomorrow night for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop and Oshawa on Sunday evening for a 6:05 p.m. start. Then, it's on to the playoffs! The drama is starting to build; are you ready to jump on the Majors bandwagon?
