Portland Timbers News Release
PORTLAND, Ore. - Major League Soccer today announced that the kickoff time for the Portland Timbers' home match against the Houston Dynamo on Saturday, July 28, has been changed to 8 p.m. (Pacific) due to excessive heat forecast for the Portland, Ore., area. Additionally, Saturday's match will be broadcast live on FOX 12 PLUS with local radio broadcasts on 750 AM/102.9 FM The Game (English) and La GranD 1150 AM/93.5 FM (Spanish).
Originally scheduled for 6 p.m. (Pacific), the new start time will allow for lower on-field and in-stadium temperatures later in the evening. The game originally was slated to be broadcast on ESPN.
