Magic Closes out Day Two with Win over Warriors

LAS VEGAS - The Lakeland Magic defeated the Santa Cruz Warriors 105-92 to wrap up Day Two of the 2018 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase.
Magic center Amile Jefferson had another standout performance, scoring 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting and grabbing a game-high 15 rebounds. Guard Gabe York also had an efficient night, knocking down 8-of-15 from the field for 22 points, while BJ Johnson added 14 points and 12 boards.
The Warriors Damion Lee scored a team-high 22 points in the loss. Kendrick Nunn added 15 points off the bench.
The Magic head back to Lakeland after finishing its trip to Las Vegas 2-0. The Santa Cruz Warriors will take on the Canton Charge on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. PT on NBA TV to finish their Showcase trip.
