BayHawks Outshine Suns for Win
December 21, 2018 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
LAS VEGAS - Jordan Sibert scored a career-high 34 points to lead the Erie BayHawks to a 106-95 victory over the Northern Arizona Suns and close their 2-0 trip to the 2018 MGM Resorts NBA G League Winter Showcase.
Sibert knocked down seven threes (10-of-16 overall from the field) and was perfect from the free-throw line in the victory. The guard also grabbed six rebounds and had three steals. Center Isaac Humphries followed up his career-high scoring performance from Tuesday (34 points, 15 rebounds vs. Texas) with 17 points and 13 boards.
Suns two-way player Elie Okobo dished out a career-high 14 assists and scored 21 points despite the loss. Hollis Thompson has 20 points and eight rebounds.
The BayHawks improve to 9-8 after the victory while the Suns are now 3-18 after the loss.
