
Mad Ants Launch Read to Achieve Book Drive

Fort Wayne, IN (February 9, 2009)-The Mad Ants are proud to announce the launch of the Read to Achieve book drive presented by Do It Best Corp. and The Bookmark. The Book Drive will run Tuesday, February 10th through Monday, February 23rd.
Fans are encouraged to drop off new or gently used books to The Bookmark at 3240 N. Anthony Blvd. or at any Mad Ants home game, where they will receive a free ticket to any Mad Ants game. All books collected will be distributed to non-profit educational organizations throughout the community.
The Bookmark is open from 10:00-7:00 Monday-Thursday, 10:00-6:00 Friday, and 10:00-5:00 Saturday.
The Do It Best Read to Achieve program promotes the values of reading and on-line literacy and encourages families and adults to read regularly with young children. The program includes reading time-outs, the donation of books, and the All-Star Reading program, which will launch later this month.
