Mad Ants Hire Gordon

FORT WAYNE, IN (December 4, 2013) -The Fort Wayne Mad Ants presented by Lutheran Health Network have added Steve Gordon to the basketball operations staff as Special Consultant. Gordon is a long time scout, coach, and advisor in the NBA, and he will assist Mad Ants president Jeff Potter in various aspects of the team's basketball operations.
Gordon began his NBA career with the Seattle SuperSonics as a special assignments coach, and he then moved to the Portland Trail Blazers as a consultant. His last position was as a scout with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
"I have known Steve for many years and have a great deal of respect for his basketball knowledge," said Potter. "I am very happy to have someone of his experience helping our basketball team."
