Mad Ants Day in Noble County

Fort Wayne, IN (February 7, 2011)- The Mad Ants along with Mayor Handshoe of Kendallville declared Friday, March 4th 2011 "Mad Ants Day in Noble County." Noble county residents will be encouraged to attend Noble County night at the Mad Ants game on March 4th at 7:30pm as they take on the Reno Bighorns.

Over 1,000 tickets have already been distributed through the Kendallville Safe Haven Program. The Safe Haven program is a program organized through the Kendallville Police Department, East Noble School Corporation, and the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Chief Wiley visited every school in the district and put on a short assembly that taught students in the Noble County area proper safety procedures that they face each day. Students were also introduced to the Safe Haven decal that will be distributed throughout the homes and residents in the Noble County area.

Local sponsors of the program made it possible for students to receive a Safety workbook, pencils, t-shirts and tickets to the Mad Ants game on Friday, March 4th. Local Sponsors of the program include, KPC Media Group, Erica Dekko, Noble County Community Foundation, Jansen and Jansen Chiropractic, Courier Corporation.

Noble County residents can purchase special discounted tickets for the game on March 4th through the Mad Ants office by calling (260) 469-4667. Tickets must be purchased by February 25th in order to receive discount.
