Macon Knights Set Dates for 2005 Knightingales Tryouts

MACON, Ga. â The Macon Knights will hold open tryouts for the 2005 Knightingales dance team on Sunday, January 30th, 2:00 - 6:00 pm, and Thursday, February 3rd, 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Tryouts will be held at the Macon Knights training facility.
Participants must attend either the Sunday or Thursday tryout and a group of finalists will be selected to attend a final audition on Wednesday, February 9th. Registration for the tryouts will begin 30 minutes before each session. Registration forms are available at the Knights office and at www.MaconKnights.com.
Participants must be 18 years of age by April 1st, 2005 (please bring a valid photo ID). Participants are required to wear fitted clothing and athletic or dance shoes to the tryout (bare midriff, no baggy clothing, etc.). In addition to a completed registration form, participants need to provide a non-returnable photograph and a $30 cash, or money order, pre-registration fee or a $35 registration fee the day of the tryout.
Participants will be taught a routine and do not need to prepare their own. Approximately 20 dancers will be chosen for the 2005 Knightingales dance team. The first two tryouts are not open to the public; however, the final audition (Wednesday, February 9th) is open to the public.
