Machlitt Named Runner up for NAHL's Forward of the Month for September

The North American Hockey League announced its Players of the Month awards for the month of September and the Titans Mitch Machlitt was named runner up to Forward of the Month for September.
This has been a banner month for the Maple Grove, MN native. The 20-year-old is second in the league in totals points with 14 (4 goals and 10 assists) in eight games. He scored two breakaway goals against the New Mexico Ice Wolves at the Showcase (including a shorthanded goal). He also scored the lone goal in this past Saturday's shootout win over the New Jersey Titans.
This is the third time in September that Machlitt received recognition from the league. He was the East Division's Player of the week for week ending September 15 and honorable mention for September 29.
