OTTAWA- The Ottawa Lynx, in combination with Storm Internet, are pleased to announce that Lynx Stadium will be a Wireless Internet Hotspot for the 2006 season. Wireless internet will be available to fans in the seating bowl at Lynx Stadium during each of the 72 home games during the year.

The announcement of Wireless Internet is particularly eventful this year, as the Lynx will be broadcasting their games over the internet at ottawalynx.com. In addition to the internet broadcasts, fans can follow along with the game using the new pitch-by-pitch gameday scoring system.

"We're extremely excited about having wireless internet in the Stadium," said Lynx General Manager Kyle Bostwick " This initiative, along with our internet radio broadcasts and the pitch-by-pitch gameday system allows us to use technology to make the gameday experience even better for our fans."

The Lynx 2006 schedule features 72 home games, with the home opener taking place on tomorrow, April 6th, when the Lynx take on the Louisville Bats. First pitch for the opening game of the 2006 season is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
