
Lynx Fall To Bats 4-3 In Spring Training Play

Sarasota - The Ottawa Lynx took their first defeat of the Minor League Spring Schedule today when the lost 4-3 to the Louisville Bats.
The Lynx trailed the game 4-0 before rallying for three runs in the 8th inning to make it close.
RHP Dave Borkowski, who is expected to be in the Lynx starting rotation, pitched two scoreless innings for Ottawa, as did right-handed reliever Tony Fiore.
Offensively, 3B Tripper Johnson and OF Eugene Kingsale each had two hits for the Lynx, while 1B Walter Young drove in a run with a sacrifice fly.
Ottawa, who is now 2-1-1 on the spring, takes on the Pawtucket Red Sox in Fort Myers tomorrow.
The 2005 Lynx home opener is only 22 days away, as Ottawa will take on their North Division rival the Rochester Red Wings in a special opening day doubleheader on Saturday, April 16th at 1:05 pm.
