Buffalo Bisons News Release
The Buffalo Bisons lost Thursday afternoon to the Round Rock Express (Houston Astros), 9-2, from Kissimmee, Florida. The Herd is now 1-3-2 so far in six Spring Training Games.
Offensively, the Bisons got RBI-doubles from first baseman Michael Aubrey and designated hitter Ernie Young to produce their two runs. Outfielder Joe Inglett went 1-2 to extend his Spring Training hitting streak to FIVE games (.500, 6-12)
Starter Jason Bere took the loss for the Herd after allowing four runs on four hits in the first three innings. Fernando Cabrera had a strong outing, allowing just a hit and a walk in two scoreless innings of relief.
The Bisons next game will be Friday, March 25 at 1:00 p.m. against the Richmond Braves (Atlanta Braves) from Orlando, Florida.
