
Lynx Acquire McCutcheon From Salmon Kings

Augusta, GA - The Augusta Lynx announced today that they have received the rights to forward Warren McCutcheon from the Victoria Salmon Kings, fulfilling the future considerations due for defenseman Phil Cole.
McCutcheon, 24, played in 27 games with Victoria last season, recording eight points and 40 minutes in penalties. The 6-4, 200 lb. Carmen, Manitoba native was originally selected in the eighth round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils.
Cole spent 51 games with Victoria last year, scoring three times and totaling 15 points while posting a +10 rating.
