Lupul named Provident Bank Mighty Ducks Player of the Month

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Cincinnati right wing Joffrey Lupul has been named the Provident Bank Mighty Ducks Player of the Month for December, 2004.

Lupul, a first-round pick by Anaheim in 2002, led Cincinnati in points (11), goals (seven), game-winning goals (two), first goals (two) and shots (51) in 14 games during the month. He recorded three multiple-point games, including a two-goal, three-point game December 15 at Chicago and a three-goal hat trick December 28 at Grand Rapids. Lupul finished the month with a three-game point streak, scoring four goals and one assist in that stretch.

In recognition of his achievement, Lupul will be presented with a plaque from Provident Bank prior to an upcoming Mighty Ducks home game.
