LumberKings Drop 7th Straight

The LumberKings continued their four game road trip for the final stop on the trip in O'Fallon, MO. The LumberKings are in the midst of a six-game losing streak and just 2-8 in their last 10, the LumberKings tried to end the road trip on a high note.

It was firework Friday at CarShield Field and there were several fireworks before the firework show even started. The LumberKings were able to get a HBP RBI in the top of the second with the bases loaded but that would be the only run scored for the LumberKings all game.

Josh Gibson had a two-run homerun in the bottom of the second and Drew Polum had a two-run shot as well. This game just like many others amidst this now seven game losing streak for the LumberKings was all O'Fallon.

Final score from CarShield Field 7-1. The Hoots improve to 12-7 and the LumberKings drop to 8-12. The LumberKings return to Nelson Corp Field tomorrow against the Normal CornBelters, first pitch scheduled for 6:35.
