
LumberKings cancel public workout

Clinton, IA - The Clinton LumberKings have cancelled tonight's scheduled "soft opening" due to rain. The LumberKings had planned to open the gates to Ashford University Field for a free admission public work out before rains forced the cancellation of the event.
The LumberKings will continue to prepare for the season opener in Kane County on Thursday, April 5 against the Cougars. There will be no make-up day for the scheduled public work out. The LumberKings will host their home opener on Saturday, April 7th against the Kane County Cougars.
