Lumberjacks Tender '07 Birthyear Cameron Aucoin

MUSKEGON, Mich. - The Muskegon Lumberjacks are proud to announce the tender signing of skilled defenseman Cameron Aucoin. A 2007 birth year out of Chicago, Illinois Aucoin has spent the last three seasons with the Chicago Mission AAA program. This season through 15 games with the Mission Aucoin is producing at just over a point per game with 3 goals and 13 assists for 16 total points.

Aucoin might sound familiar to Lumberjacks fans as Cameron's older brother Kyle spent parts of the 2020-21 season in Muskegon. "Muskegon has always been a place that I've been thinking of coming to because of my brother's experience with the Lumberjacks and finally getting to tender here is awesome" said Cameron. Now a member of the Harvard Crimson Kyle came to Muskegon during his year of junior hockey helping the Jacks to an appearance in the Clark Cup Eastern Conference Finals.

"I'm pumped up" said Aucoin. "My brother played here and he loved it, it's close to home so my parents are pretty excited about being able to come and watch the games, and the coaching staff."
