
Lumberjacks Add Solid Defenseman Grant Docter in Another Whirlwind Trade

Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release
MUSKEGON, MI - The Muskegon Lumberjacks and Des Moines Buccaneers today agreed to a trade which should fill immediate needs for both teams.
In the deal, Muskegon sends to Des Moines forward Harrison Roy and defenseman Tamirlan Gaitamirov.
The Lumberjacks receive defenseman Grant Docter, a 5'11" Michigan Tech commit from Minnetonka, MN.
New President of Hockey Operations Steve Lowe continues to put his stamp on the Lumberjacks. "We are committed to building a team with great puck movement and team speed.
Grant gives us that from the blue line and will be with us for two seasons."
The Lumberjacks take on Team USA's U-17 team Wednesday and the Chicago Steel on Saturday. Wednesday is College Night and $2 Beer, and Saturday night is the annual Teddy Bear Toss. Puck drops at 7:05 PM for both home games.
