Lumberjacks Acquire Defenseman Toll from Sioux Falls

Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release


MUSKEGON, MI - Monday afternoon the Muskegon Lumberjacks and Sioux Falls Stampede announced a trade in which the Jacks acquired defenseman Jacob Toll, a 2004 birth year from Rosemount, Minnesota.

Hunter Anderson - 2005, F

2025 Phase II 7th

When asked about the trade Lumberjacks President of Hockey Operations Steve Lowe said "We'd like to thank Hunter (Anderson) for everything he did for the Lumberjacks during his time in Muskegon. It is always hard to part ways with a great person, and a great player."

Coming back to Muskegon in the trade is defenseman Jacob Toll. Lowe continued "We are excited to welcome Jacob (Toll) to Muskegon. We felt that we needed to sure up our defense for this year and next, and Jake is the perfect addition for us."

Toll has had a good start to the season with the Stampede. In 39 games this season the defenseman has recorded 6 goals and 9 assists for 10 total points and was among the team lead in Sioux Falls with a +9 rating.
