
Luke Willson Performs Ceremonial Ball Toss

(WINDSOR, ONTARIO) The Windsor Express are thrilled to announce LaSalle's own, Luke Willson - a member of the Super Bowl XLVIII Champion, Seattle Seahawks - will perform the ceremonial ball toss at Game 1 of the NBL Quarterfinals tonight.
The game, featuring the Central Division Champion, Express and the Mississauga Power, starts at 7:00pm at the WFCU Centre.
Windsor earned home court advantage throughout the playoffs with a 29-11 regular season record, while 10-30 Mississauga clinched a playoff berth by beating Ottawa 103-100 in a one game playoff on Sunday.
Willson graduated from Villanova High School and moved on to play tight end at Rice University, before being drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the 5th round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
As a rookie, Willson played in every game for the Seahawks, making 20 catches for 272 yards and a touchdown in the regular season.
He capped off a memorable season with two catches for 17 yards in Super Bowl XLVIII as Seattle blasted Denver 43-8, winning their first Super Bowl in franchise history.
