
Ludacris, Ciara coming to Wings Stadium

Kalamazoo, MI- The Wings Stadium Complex, which is also home to "The Annex" and "The Cube", announce that the next mega concert to come to Kalamazoo will be on Friday, October 21st at 8 p.m., when 103.3 WKFR presents Hip-Hop Superstars Ludacris and Ciara in concert at Wings Stadium.
Ludacris is currently promoting his fifth and most recent album, Red Light District, which features the hit singles "Pimpin' All Over the World", "Number One Spot", and "Get Back."
The multi platinum artist's high energy, hip-hop tracks quickly made him one of the rap industry's most in-demand rappers, with his four previous albums: Def Jam South, Back For The First Time, Word of Mouf, and Chicken N Beer selling over 10 million copies. His most recent album, Red Light District, sold 450,000 copies during its first week of release with the first hit single "Get Back" instantly climbing the charts. After a sensational performance at the 2005 MTV Video Music Awards in August, Ludacris was awarded Best Rap Music Video for "Number One Spot."
Multi-talented scene-stealer Ciara, will also take the stage on October 21st. Ciara burst onto the scene in 2004 with her single "Goodies". In 2005, she won the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Award for best collaboration for "1,2, Step." She co-hosted the 2005 Lady of Soul Awards and took home two awards for "1, 2 step" and "Goodies."
Tickets go on sale this Wednesday, September 21st at 10 a.m. Tickets for this general admission show are $36.00. Tickets will be available at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster locations, Ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at (269) 373-7000.

Stadium Management Company owns both Wings Stadium Complex and the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team. Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities, that plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
