
Lucky Season Ticket Holder wins Second Prize

Moline, IL â Vicki Hammons of Atalissa, Iowa, is the latest winner in the series of Season Ticket Holder Prize Drawings. As the Second Prize winner, she receives a Mallards jersey autographed by the players, a $45 gift certificate at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill & Bar, a $40 gift certificate at Biaggi's, a $40 gift certificate at R.J. Boar's, and 250 points added to her Quacker Backer card.
Only the Grand Prize Drawing remains. The winner will be randomly selected and announced at the Mallards' home opener, Saturday, Nov. 8, against the Flint Generals at The MARK of the Quad Cities. The Grand Prize package includes free Lasik surgery on both eyes from Virdi Eye Clinic, free hotel and passes for a family of four to Grand Harbor Resort and Waterpark in Dubuque, and 500 points added to the winner's Quacker Backer card. At the game, Valley Bank Presents the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders. Also, author and former goaltender Ken Baker will be on hand to sign copies of his new book, They Don't Play Hockey in Heaven, which features a chapter on his dramatic pro debut with the Mallards.
Previously, Mark Steddom of Davenport won the First Prize package, including two round trip airline tickets to anywhere in the continental United States aboard United Airlines, a $40.00 gift certificate good at Carlos O'Kelly's Mexican Café, with locations in Moline and Davenport, and 300 points added to his Quacker Backer Card. Neal Nelson of Alpha, Illinois, was the Third Prize Winner and received a Mallards hat and t-shirt, a $20 gift certificate at Steak ân Shake, a Mallards puck autographed by his favorite player, a Zamboni ride at the game of his choice, and 100 points added to his Quacker Backer card.
Anyone who reserves their 2003-2004 Mallards Season Tickets, by making a minimum $50 per seat non-refundable deposit, is eligible for the Grand Prize Drawing.
