Lucas Humpal Named Warstic TCL Pitcher of the Week

Victoria General's pitcher Lucas Humpal has been named the Warstic Texas Collegiate League Pitcher of the Week for week three of the 2013 summer season.
In his second start of the summer, Humpal shut down the Texas Marshals on Thursday to earn his first TCL win. The right-hander went seven innings and allowed just three hits while striking out seven without a walk. The Texas State freshman, who was recently named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American, led the Generals to a 13-1 victory.
This is the second straight week the Generals have picked up a TCL award as outfielder Jacob Hubert was named the Warstic TCL Player of the Week just a week ago.
