
Lowgators Pick Up Center

GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 6, 2003) - The North Charleston Lowgators have acquired center Raynell Brewer, according to an announcement today by National Basketball Development League Executive Director Karl Hicks and Lowgators head coach Doug Marty.
A 7-foot, 210-pound product of McNeese State University ('02), Brewer averaged 9.1 points and 6.3 rebounds for the Cowboys last season. He will fill the roster spot vacated by Thad Delaney, who is currently rehabilitating an injured knee.
Brewer is expected to arrive in North Charleston Wednesday and travel with the team when the Lowgators visit Columbus Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
