November 7, 2002 - NBA G League (G League)
Charleston Lowgators News Release
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (November 7, 2002) â With a new team president and a commitment to enhancing the overall fan experience, the North Charleston Lowgators have announced a new fan-friendly ticket pricing structure for the upcoming season. The Lowgators begin their quest for an NBDL Championship next week.
The new ticket prices have been set with an emphasis on increasing opportunities for everyone throughout the Lowcountry to experience "excitement you can sink your teeth into" this season. The new structure recognizes adults, children, students, seniors and members of the military. As an example, a child aged 3 to 12 can purchase any seat location for $7.50, with the highest price ticket being an adult ticket capped at $13..00.
"By simplifying our ticket structure and eliminating our top ticket prices from a year ago, our fans automatically gain access to the best available seat locations at time of purchase," commented Team President Peter Ricciardi. "Our new prices will provide everyone in the community the ability to come to a Lowgators game this season. Great professional basketball and an exciting and fun game presentation promises that a night with the Lowgators will be both affordable and memorable."
"The feedback from families and small businesses has been extremely positive. We've listened and listened well," Ricciardi added.
Individual game ticket prices will consist of one price for adults ($13.00), one price for students/military ($10.00) and one price for children/seniors ($7.50). Fans purchasing tickets at the Box Office or through TicketMaster will receive the best available seat (excluding a limited amount of Floor Seats) at the time of purchase. Season ticket plans, flex-pack vouchers and group rate tickets also reflect the new fan-friendly prices throughout the North Charleston Coliseum.
The Lowgators begin their home schedule Sunday, November 17 with the Lowgators' Kids' Opening Day. With the purchase of one (1) adult $13.00 ticket, up to three (3) children (ages 3-12) will receive free admission to the game, courtesy of Clear Channel Radio.
The Lowgators' 25-game home schedule consists of 14 weekend games, with six Friday games, six Saturday games and two Sunday games. There will also be four home Monday games, six games on Wednesday and one on Thursday.
The North Charleston Lowgators open the 2002-03 NBDL season Friday, November 15, 2002 on the road against the Mobile Revelers at the Mobile Civic Center. The Lowgators home opener is a rematch of last year's NBDL Finals on Sunday, November 17 against the defending champion Greenville Groove at the North Charleston Coliseum. Lowgators season tickets and mini-plans are currently on sale. For information, call (843) 460-1000 or visit the Lowgators official website at www.northcharlestonlowgators.com.
