Players to Watch

Kevin Morris: The gutsy point guard from Georgia State University has made the team's 15-man roster the hard way. Morris beat out 90 players in mid-October at the Riverdragons open local tryouts and has now outlasted 10 more players at the Riverdragons training camp. Morris is competing for a point guard slot with veterans Saul Smith and Jeremy Veal and rookie Sean Peterson from Georgia Southern.

Sean Peterson: Peterson's NBA Dream is off to a good start. The Georgia Southern point guard became the first player to lock a 2002-03 regular season roster spot on the Riverdragons. Following Wednesday's cuts, Peterson remained the only allocated player on the Riverdragons 15-man roster. In accordance with NBDL rules, one allocated player must make the team. Returning guard Saul Smith was the Riverdragons only allocated player to make the squad last season.
