Saturday Family Nights at the Park
New for 2003 is family fun Saturday nights. For the first time, fans are encouraged to stay after every Saturday home game to enjoy Saturday Family Nights at no extra cost. Fans will be invited onto the field to enjoy a show and are encouraged to bring blankets to sit down with on the field or bring baseball gloves to play catch. Game time for Saturday games is 5:05PM.

Kevin Youkilis to play in All-Star Futures Game
Portland Sea Dogs third baseman Kevin Youkilis was selected to play in the RadioShack All-Star Futures Game in Chicago on Sunday, July 13. Manager Ron Johnson has also been selected as a coach for the World squad. The RadioShack All-Star Futures Game, which will be broadcast live on ESPN2 at 5:30 p.m. (EDT) on July 13, features the top prospects in Minor League Baseball, with a team of U.S.-born players competing against players from around the world, as a showcase of the great international talent throughout baseball. Youkilis will represent the United States squad while De La Rosa will play for the World Futures team. RadioShack All-Star Sunday is the first of three days of All-Star events at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago, culminating in the 74th All-Star Game on Tuesday, July 15. More info from Portland »

David is the first first round draft pick to report to Lowell in time for the home opener since Corey Jenkins was here in 1996. David and the Spinners have started off the 2003 season in exciting fashion with a 3-0 start.
