LOWELL, Mass. - The Lowell Devils are participating in various community events throughout the Merrimack Valley during the off-season. Below is a list of past and future events for the Devils.

This past week:

On Saturday, Devil Dawg and the Street Team were at LeLacheur Park for the Lowell Spinners 2nd annual Family Fun Run and BBQ. Pictures from the event can be viewed online on the Devils website at http://www.lowelldevilshockey.com/community/index.php.

Coming Up:

Friday, June 1 - Relay For Life, North Reading

Devil Dawg will pay a visit this Friday to the Relay For Life walk, at North Reading High School, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Relay For Life is an overnight event held in communities throughout the country, and more than 200 Relays alone will take place in New England this summer. Relay For Life serves as a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, and over $46,000 has been raised so far for the event.

Saturday, June 2 - Nashua Parks and Rec Opening Day, Greeley Park, Nashua

Devil Dawg and the Street Team will help celebrate Summerfun 2007 Opening Day for the Nashua Parks and Rec at Greeley Park in Nashua, NH on Saturday. There will be face painting, children's activities, food, entertainment and more, starting at 12:00 noon. Summerfun is a series of concerts, art shows, exhibits and family events held at Greeley Park and other locations throughout Nashua during the summer. Greeley Park is located at 100 Concord Street in Nashua.

Lowell Devils Street Team

The Lowell Devils Street Team is in place and ready to help out with your community event. Consisting of members of the promotional staff, the Street Team will be visiting various charity events, fairs, recreational outings and more. They will be armed with the Devil-mobile, Devils promotional gear and accompanied by Devil Dawg.
