Louisville City Partners with Local Pubs to Enhance Gameday Experience

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (April 9th, 2015)-- -Louisville City FC has partnered with two local pubs on Whiskey Row to enhance the game day experience for its supporters and will officially become the start to the March to the Match location for the Coopers. O'Sheas Irish Pub and Troll Pub will jointly become a pre- game destination for Louisville City FC fans throughout the 2015 season, starting next Thursday evening when Louisville City FC plays host to the Rochester Rhinos on April 16th.

"We are thrilled to have the support of these two local pubs for our inaugural season," said General Manager Amanda Duffy. "Officially having the March to the Match start from this portion of Washington Street that will be closed for a window of time prior to our kickoff will truly enrich our game day experience, and will give the Coopers more space and a larger audience to generate excitement as they bring the fans into Slugger Field ."

The first event next Thursday will see Washington Street closed between First Street to Second Street starting at 5pm until 7:30pm. Du ring that time, music will be provided by DJ Melly Mell courtesy of O'Sheas and $3 Falls City Pale Ale will be available at both O'Sheas Irish Pub and Troll Pub. The following week, when Louisville City hosts the Tulsa Roughnecks, additional craft beer and food specials will accompany the music on that prime block in downtown Louisville.

The M arch to the M atch will commence one hour before kickoff as they bring fans from Whiskey Row, Against the Grain and all locations in between to Louisville Slugger Field.

Tickets for Thursday's match are on sale at www.LouisvilleCityFC.com. To avoid lines and guarantee a spot next to friends and family, it is suggested that fans order ahead of time.

Louisville City FC is a professional soccer team founded in 2014 and will begin its first season in USL in March, 2015. The United Soccer League was founded in 2010 and has expanded to 24 teams for the 2015 season. Louisville City FC will play all home matches at Louisville Slugger Field in downtown Louisville.
