Louisville City FC News Release
LOUISVILLE (June 18, 2018) - A massive week for Louisville City FC is highlighted by a midweek U.S. Open Cup contest against Nashville SC and a trip to North Carolina FC on Saturday night as USL play resumes.
City drew Penn FC, 3-3, last Saturday night at Slugger Field to mark the beginning of a stretch of five games in 14 days across all competitions. Now the focus shifts to a Round of 16 matchup with fellow USL side Nashville SC and a trip to the competition's Quarterfinals on the line.
Also of note, assistant coach Daniel Byrd will join host Howie Lindsey for the LouCity's Coach's Show on Monday nights, airing at 8:00 P.M. on flagship station 840 WHAS. Byrd will be joined by midfielder George Davis IV and defender Pat McMahon, both of whom have played a role in City's USL and Open Cup quests thus far.
