LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (May 11, 2015)-- - Louisville City FC announced today the addition of former Orlando City attacking midfielder Aodhan Quinn. Quinn played alongside Bryan Burke and head coach James O'Connor while with Orlando City for their last season in USL PRO, making 16 appearances for the club that finished first in the league.

"We are delighted to have Aodhan on board," O'Connor said. "He is a very good footballer and is someone I know very well from my time in Orlando. He has tremendous talent and will be another attacking threat for us in the midfield."

In 2014, prior to joining Orlando City's squad, Quinn heard his named called in the MLS SuperDraft. Selected in the third round, the 6-foot midfielder was taken 52nd overall by the Philadelphia Union.

Quinn started his college career at Bradley University before transferring to Akron. While with the Zips, Quinn was recognized as one of the top ten midfielders in the country. In 2013 he was named the Mid American Conference Player of the Year.

The San Diego, California product spent two seasons with the Seattle Sounders U-23 team. He made 26 appearances for Seattle and tallied eight goals during that time. In 2012, Quinn scored two goals in 11 matches for the Akron Summit Assault.

Louisville City FC is a professional soccer team founded in 2014 and will begin its first season in USL in March, 2015. The United Soccer League was founded in 2010 and has expanded to 24 teams for the 2015 season. Louisville City FC will play all home matches at Louisville Slugger Field in downtown Louisville.
