Loudoun United FC Announces New Mascot

Leesburg, VA. - Loudoun United FChave announced the addition of a new mascot ahead of the 2023 season. The Red-and-White has introduced a Pegasus, a mascot personifying Loudoun United's brand and identity.

Adorned with wings and a cheerful personality, the mascot will cheer on LUFC at home matches this season.

"The addition of our mascot is one more way Loudoun United continues to make the matchday experience fun for the whole family and connect with its fans," said Vanessa Bollinger, Loudoun United's Director of Marketing and Community.

Loudoun United is inviting fans to submit name suggestions for the mascot! Submit your nominations here. The submission form will close at 11:59PM on March 12th. Starting on March 13th, fans will have a chance to vote on the top name nominations! The new mascot's name will be revealed on March 19th at LUFC's first home match.

The team also launched a new Mascot Twitter account, @LoudounPegasus with plans for their newest flying friend to spread his wings (and tweets) far and wide.
