
LouCity Transfers Kamara to Columbus Crew

Louisville City FC has agreed to a transfer deal sending midfielder Jay Tee Kamara to the Columbus Crew, it was announced Friday.
Terms include a sell-on to LouCity should Kamara leave Columbus on a transfer in the future. Other details were not disclosed.
Kamara, a 19-year-old from Sierra Leone, originally signed in early 2021 out of Florida prep school Montverde Academy. He spent his debut professional season on loan with USL League One side North Carolina FC, tying for the team lead in goals with 4 to go with 5 assists across 21 appearances.
Kamara has signed with Columbus Crew 2, which will this year play in the new Division 3 MLS NEXT Pro league.
