Louisville City FC News Release
Louisville, KY (September 17, 2015) - Louisville City FC announced today that the 2016 Season Ticket renewal process is underway and deposits for new season tickets are now being accepted. The club revealed more season ticket seating locations at the same affordable pricing that will continue developing the unique fan experience inside Louisville Slugger Field.
As part of the club's thrilling inaugural season campaign, including it's ascent to USL's second highest ranking in season ticket sales and regular season average attendance, Lou City reached the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, had a league record-setting goal scorer in Matt Fondy, made national and international headlines with a win over Major League Soccer's Orlando City in a mid-season exhibition match, ranked first in goals scored, finished the regular season second in the Eastern Conference standings and has earned a first round bye in the 2015 USL Playoffs.
"The support we received in our inaugural season has been extraordinary," said Louisville City general manager Amanda Duffy. "The commitment from our Founding Members and Season Ticket Holders helped the club quickly establish itself in the Louisville community and the surrounding region, and combined with the work from The Coopers as well as other Supporter Groups, our team had the opportunity to play in front of one of the most thrilling soccer environments in the country."
