LOS ANGELES - Los Angeles Sparks Chief Administrative Officer and General Manager Karen Bryant announced today that the organization has elevated Eli Horowitz to Assistant General Manager. Working in partnership with Bryant and Head Coach Curt Miller, he will help oversee player personnel, scouting, salary cap management, and basketball analytics.

Horowitz enters his sixth season with the franchise, most recently serving as Senior Director, Communications & Basketball Analytics.

"Eli has been a great contributor to the Sparks for the past five seasons and is very deserving of the new opportunity," Bryant said of Horowitz. "His passion for the WNBA along with his knowledge of player personnel and analytics will be a valuable addition to our basketball operations team."

Horowitz started with the Sparks in May of 2018 as Director of Public Relations and Communications. Over the past few seasons, Horowitz took on additional responsibilities in stats and analytics before being promoted to Senior Director of Basketball Analytics in February of 2022. In the role, he supported college and international scouting efforts, advised on player personnel, and managed the Sparks salary cap.

"I want to thank Karen Bryant and Eric Holoman for the incredible opportunity to serve as Assistant General Manager of this iconic franchise," said Horowitz. "I'm excited to work alongside the best athletes in the world and play a role in building the next chapter of Los Angeles Sparks basketball."
