Los Angeles Kings Bring Stanley Cup to Manchester

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the 2012 Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings, will host the Stanley Cup at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Sunday, September 16, 2012, Monarchs President Darren Abbott announced today.

The Monarchs will hold a Stanley Cup Rally on the plaza of the Verizon Wireless Arena from 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 16 for the city of Manchester and the people of Monarchs Country to celebrate the Kings winning the Stanley Cup. At 5:30 p.m., the Stanley Cup will move inside the arena for a ticketed event exclusively for Monarchs Ticket Package Holders.

"The Manchester community has been instrumental in the success of the Los Angeles Kings organization," expressed Abbott. "Many of the key players on the Kings roster spent time developing their skills in Manchester. It is a great honor to share in the celebration of the Kings' Stanley Cup victory and we are proud to bring festivities to Monarchs Country."

During the ticketed event, fans will have the opportunity to get their picture taken with the Stanley Cup by the Monarchs Team Photographer, Steve Babineau, for a donation to the Monarchs Care Foundation. The Monarchs will provide a website for fans to download their pictures from following the event for no additional cost.

Fans can attend the exclusive ticketed event by becoming a Monarchs Ticket Package Holder today. There is a package fit for everyone. Ticket packages range from seven games to a full season.
