Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
The Chattanooga Lookouts (26-21) surrendered five home runs in their 9-6 loss to Rocket City Trash Pandas (25-22).
Familiar faces struck against the Lookouts early as Mitch Nay and Ibandel Isabel each went yard in the first inning. Down 3-0 before taking an at-bat, Chattanooga managed to score a run of their own to make it 3-1.
Rocket City continued to launch home runs in the third. David MacKinnon hit a two-run shot to give the Trash Pandas the 5-1 advantage.
Chattanooga got on board the home run train when Wilson Garcia hit a solo home run in the fifth. An inning later, Byrd Tenerowicz hit a solo shot of his own, his second of the year.
Trailing 9-5, the team managed to score a run in the bottom of the ninth, but couldn't complete the rally.
After an off-day tomorrow the team heads to Birmingham for six games against the Barons.
