Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
The Chattanooga Lookouts did not get a hit until the ninth inning but almost came back in their eventual 4-3 loss to Pensacola.
Blue Wahoo's starter Brandon Liebrandt threw six hitless innings and only allowed four base runners. Dylan Bice and Andrew Bellatti followed with a hitless inning each to keep the no-hitter intact going into the ninth inning.
Up 4-0, Pensacola walked Braxton Lee and then allowed their first hit of the day on a Leonardo Rivas single. Jose Barrero followed that up with a three-run homer to close the lead down to one. Reliever Colton Hock then entered and closed out the game.
After an off-day tomorrow the team heads to Tennessee to play the Smokies for six games. Chattanooga returns home on Tuesday, June 22.
