CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Chattanooga Lookouts fell, 12-6, to the Tennessee Smokies on Saturday night from AT&T Field.
Chattanooga (38-51) jumped out to an early, 4-1, lead after one inning of play fueled by a three-run home run by TJ Hopkins.
The Lookouts looked to be in control, tacking on two more in the second with an RBI double from Elly De La Cruz, his first Double-A RBI, and a Hopkins sacrifice fly to stretch the lead to five.
It was all the Smokies from there as they added eight runs in the fourth to take the lead and added on one in the eighth and two in the ninth to complete the, 12-6, win.
Hopkins once again led the Chattanooga attack with a 2-for-4 day and four RBIs. De La Cruz registered his first Double-A hit finishing
2-for-4 with a double and RBI. Alex McGarry rounded out the multi-hit hosts going 2-for-4 with an RBI. Ivan Johnson saw a 17-game hit streak come to a close finishing 0-for-3 but extended his reached base streak to 20 games with a walk in the third.

Peyton Remy (6-3) picked up the win for Tennessee (6-3) going four innings in relief work giving up three hits, two runs, three walks, and struck out six batters. Chase Strumpf paced the Smokies' offense with a 3-for-5 night with a pair of doubles and an RBI.
