Banchi led AEK Athens to the FIBA Intercontinental Cup title in 2019 and has won two Italian League titles as a head coach, first with Montepaschi Siena in 2013 and again with Olimpia Milano in 2014, becoming just the second head coach in league history to win consecutive Italian League championships with different teams. He also won six consecutive Italian League championships (2007-12) and went to the EuroLeague Final Four twice (2008, 2011) as an assistant coach with Siena prior to being promoted to the team's head coach.

Oakman will enter his third season with the Long Island Nets and his first as assistant coach. Prior to working with the Nets, Oakman spent three seasons (2015-18) as Boston University's director of basketball operations and one season (2014-15) as the team's special assistant and director of advance scouting. The University of Massachusetts Amherst graduate also previously served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for three seasons (2011-14) at Daniel Webster College in Nashua, N.H.

Allen joins Long Island after spending the 2019-20 season as an assistant coach with the NBA G League's Wisconsin Herd. He previously spent one season (2018-19) as an assistant coach with the NBA G League's Capital City Go-Go and two seasons (2016-18) at the University of Miami as a player development assistant and graduate assistant for the Hurricanes. Prior to beginning his coaching career, Allen played professionally overseas for five seasons (2011-15) in Israel, Poland, Croatia, Greece and Turkey. He also played four collegiate seasons (2007-11) at Northeastern, where he earned All-CAA First Team honors as a junior and senior and was named to the CAA All-Defensive Team for three straight years (2009-11). He was inducted into Northeastern's Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 2017.
