LONG ISLAND - The Long Island Nets, the NBA G League affiliate of the Brooklyn Nets, have acquired forward Tyler Hagedorn from the available player pool to replace forward Treveon Graham while he plays for USA Basketball in the upcoming FIBA World Cup Qualifying Games.
Hagedorn (6'10", 230) has appeared in 22 career NBA G League games (two starts) across two seasons with Maine (2021-22), Memphis (2021-22), Austin (2022-23) and Iowa (2022-23), averaging 5.9 points and 3.2 rebounds in 18.4 minutes per game. He also played one professional season (2020-21) with KK Studentski Centar in Montenegro.
Prior to beginning his professional career, he played four collegiate seasons (2015-20) at South Dakota, averaging 10.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 20.6 minutes per game across 118 games (66 starts). Hagedorn received NABC All-District First Team and All-Summit League First Team honors during his final season with the Coyotes.
USA Basketball will play at Uruguay on Thursday, Feb. 23, and complete the trip at Brazil on Sunday, Feb. 26.
