Long Island Ducks May 3rd Game Postponed

(Central Islip, N.Y., May. 3, 2009) - This afternoon's (Sunday, May 3) game versus the Somerset Patriots has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Monday, June 8, at 6:35 p.m. Fans holding tickets to today's game can use them at the 6:35 p.m. contest on Monday, June 8, ONLY.
Tonight's (Sunday, May 3) Meet & Greet event scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Ronkonkoma has also been postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.
The Ducks host the Lancaster Barnstormers on Monday, May 4, at Citibank Park. Gates open at 5:35 p.m., with first pitch scheduled for 6:35 p.m. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive 10th Anniversary 2009 magnet schedules, courtesy of the QuackerJack Foundation. Fans unable to attend can tune into the game live via streaming webcast at www.liducks.com, with Casey Lynn calling the action. Tickets to the game and all upcoming Ducks home games are available at the Citibank Park Box Office, by calling (631) 940-TIXX, or by logging onto www.liducks.com and clicking on the tickets icon at the top of the page.
