
Lison Nets Hat Trick, Leads Lone Star to 4-1 Win over Amarillo

Matt Lison lifted the Lone Star Brahmas to a 4-1 victory with a hat trick against the Amarillo Bulls.
Lison notched his first tally 18:35 into the second period. He then added goals at 19:20 into the second and at 19:44 into the third.
Lone Star was led by goalie TJ Black, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. Black managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.83 prior to the game.
Amarillo fell victim to a deadly the Brahmas power play, which ripped the Bulls for four goals.
Lone Star racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with nine minors and one major for 43 minutes in penalty time. The Brahmas surpassed its season average of 25.0 penalty minutes per game. Lone Star's offense was clicking better than usual and put 24 shots on goal during the game, better than the 16.1 shots per game it averages.
Lone Star also got a goal from Kellen Wasell as well. More assists for Lone Star came via Jan Hudecek, who had three and Conner Enciso, Anthony Mousseau, Ben Owen, and Todd Koritzinsky, who contributed one a piece.
Amarillo was often in penalty trouble, totaling 10 minors and two majors for 60 minutes in penalty time. The Bulls had been averaging 26.0 minutes in penalties per game. Amarillo could not produce up to it normal offensive output. The Bulls put an average of 3.5 pucks into the net per game.
Amarillo was led by Cody Gylling, who scored the team's only goal. Gylling scored on the power play 13:47 into the second period to make the score 1-1. The Bulls had taken the advantage when the Brahmas' Alexey Solovyev got sent off for cross checking. Mike Davis picked up the assist.
Collin Delia rejected 20 shots on goal for Amarillo. The Bulls registered one goal on four power play opportunities. Amarillo ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Joe Grabowski was ejected from the game.
